Patricia Corwell

I have always liked Patricia Cornwell's books. I should say liked the Kay Scarpetta series. But when I started reading her book, Southern Cross, it just could not hold my interest at all. I thought it was very slow moving. I had a hard time getting through the chapters. I don't understand how she could write one series so well and the other so dull. I still can't wait to see what she writes next though!
